Today we have been in the NICU for four months, and I can definately tell. I am still feeling the pull of home and the hospital is not making it any easier to want to stay...lets just say we had a disagreement, and leave it at that.
Ella is now 4 pounds 3 ounces and has been taking the growth hormones for two days. I met with the specialist today, and he is hopeful that this will straighten out her blood sugar issues and I am in agreement with that. Pray that the medicine begins to work and they are able to remove the broviac so we can drive south : )
Please pray for me, because this has been a bad day for me and I feel very uncomfortable here at the hospital. In a normal time, I wouldn't share this with you guys but I really need your prayers because Ella needs me, so we can go home. Thank you...

I'm def. praying for you to have peace of mind and for God to lead the dr.'s and nurses, heck even the lunch people in the cafeteria to treat you with kindness and to speak the truth positively over every situtaion concerning that precious baby!
Keep your chin up and your eyes on Jesus, He'll get you through this - He's brought you this far....
Praying for all of you and we love you guys!
As you look back on these past 4 months and all that it has brought about, not only in your life and Ella's, but in the lives of so many who have been drawn closer to God and strengthened in their faith because of His power to heal and restore, remember your mountain tops. Remember the peace, the joy, the hope that has carried you through each day. God has and continues to write out the testimony of Ella's life, and each mountain has a valley. God is present in it all. What we face today, God has already faced for us, and He is there in every situation ready at all times to be exactly what we need...our comfort, our strength, always providing us with answers of promise and truth that He will carry through and give us all that we need to face every struggle. Victory is on it's way! If you get the chance, listen to the song "Desert Song" from Hillsong United. As I'm writing you this, that song came to my heart, so I know it will lift your spirit as you continue to fight through all of this. You are in our prayers as always, and we pray that the days go by quickly, and that you're homecoming is really, really soon! I pray for favor and blessing on Ella for her to grow in every way to become the strong little girl she needs to be in order to take on the world! Her best days are ahead...starting today. Nothing but good reports from here on out in Jesus Name! Well, we miss you and look forward to seeing you soon! Talk to you later. Love you!
