Home again...home again...

Our baby girl now weighs 5 pounds 1 ounce and is home again...and this time here to stay. The oral antibiotics are doing well except for the diaper rash, which is unfortunately par for the course.

We are adjusting to a house full of baby stuff, not enough time for all the things that need to be done, sleep deprivation, and more joy than we can contain. Life as we know it will never be normal again, but when I think about what we have been through in the past 5 months I am amazed and awed at God's mercy and the miracle of Ella.

Right now keeping Ella healthy is our number one priority. We will also be taking frequent trips back to San Antonio to visit the numerous specialists that were involved in her case. Pray for infection to stay away and for our little princess to continue to gain weight.

I am praying and know that God is working on your behalf!! :) Just know that she is an angel from God and He's entrusted her to your care! :) That means He trusts you to take good care of her. Just have fun with your newfound freedom of hospital environment - and let her thrive in your loving home! Congrats on being home finally....You should listen to that song "It won't be this way for long" by Darius Rucker - it's just a great reminder that life goes on! :) Praying for continued protection and blessings!

Love ya'll!

Hey Christy--thank God for His grace and mercy. Peanut is surely being held in the hand of an awesome God. He knows the plans for her life and for you and Aaron. I pray for sickness and disease to stay away from your family--I take authority over every plot plan and scheme of the enemy and I say enough. No weapon formed against you shall prosper-your steps are ordered of the Lord.Be blessed this day--we continue to pray for divine health for my little Peanut and her mommy and daddy. May anyone who even thinks they might be "sick" stay away--we all want to see her--me especially--but I pray for wisdom to prevail. Thank you for sharing your life with us. May the Lord bless and keep you always. Gwen

Congratulations on the homecoming of Ella. You will soon know a "new normal" of having Ella with you at home and all the joy she will bring to your life. I pray that God continues to lay His healing hands on the whole Jeson family. Thanks for the keeping us updated. With much love,

Jericka, Brad, Jason, & Jana Lirette

That is great! We are so glad Ella is home(again). Now you can enjoy all the wonderful craziness of a newborn at home. The sleep deprivation won't last forever although sometimes you will wonder. :-) Take care!

Congrats on being home! She looks so happy in the new pictures. And she is so pretty!

For the diaper rash... go to Walgreens and buy this powder stuff called Domeboro. You mix it in a bowel of warm water and soak a paper towell in it for a few seconds and put it on her rash and put the diaper back on her. Take it off when she needs to be changed again. A few times of that over 2 days and the rash will be history!
