5 Pounds 14 ounces

Our princess is now a whopping 5 pounds 14 ounces...6 pounds here we come! Her preemie clothes are now snug and I can't wait to graduate up to newborn...sounds a little funny since technically Ella is 5 months old but not yet 6 pounds. : )

Her blood sugar is regulating itself so well that we have stopped the cornstarch and it is still good. We were able to stop one of the medications we give her and I am hoping to start reducing the other one as well....I think it will make a diffference when we don't have to give her sooo much medicine.

Life at home is amazing but hectic...there is never enough time to do everything you need to get done especially when the little girl only takes a 15 minute nap because of dogs barking or phones ringing...oh well...a clean house won't help cure world hunger or solve America's financial crisis.

That is exactly right!!!
The messy house will always be there but little kids grow faster than you can blink. So enjoy every moment of it, have some fun and clean when you can. There are more important things to do than always cleaning house!
Congrats on your bundle of joy being home and healthy! Cute as a button too!

Hallelujah!! I am so glad things are going well--God is sooo good. Peanut is thriving just being at home--her casa grande. I will continue to pray for her body to do what it was created to do without medicines. I know the body can heal itself but sometimes we need a little help on our pathway to healing. You try and get some "Mommy" time to relax--take a power nap while she sleeps. It will get better and she will sleep more--B 4 you know it she will be crawling around your feet and pulling up on the furniture!!
God bless and keep you--Gwen
