Breathing easy

They have taken Ella off the ventilator today and will start feeding her again at noon. They have to start slowly with only 3cc of milk because her bowels were also asleep when they did the surgery but we are believing that this is just the beginning and she will be back up to regular feedings in no time. Our little fighter is resting well today after her upset yesterday and came through with flying colors. It does my heart good to see her resting comfortably and sucking on her pacifier with gusto : ) (here is a picture of the little foot)

The last week has brought many set backs to our super girl, but I see the tide turning back in our favor. Over the last two days we have had several clergy members visit our little corner and I don't think it is coincidence because God knows just when we need to know that He sees our needs before we even ask. Pray for Ella's digestion that she will be able to get more food soon because our little girl needs to be a big girl. Also, remember her eyes in prayer because we believe that the surgery was a success.

Christy,
We love you and miss you greatly! We continue to pray for Ella and for you and Aaron. You aren't fighting any of the daily battles alone because there is an army of friends and family praying, believing, and standing strong with you. I'm reminded of the song, "I Will Lift My Eyes" by Bebo Norman, because it tells us to keep our eyes up, and not down on the daily battles that we face. God is already in tomorrow before it's here, making a way where there seems to be no way, and planning and directing every step we take. I pray for God's peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart, mind, and spirit. We all look forward to your homecoming already! Ella will be coming home to so much love and support here in Victoria. I must tell you that I had a vision of her yesterday. She was singing with the most beautiful voice to a large crowd. It was so powerful and so anointed...I got goose bumps! I was trying to sing along because what she was singing was so amazingly beautiful! It was awesome to see a glimpse into the plan that God has for her life! Every day, her testimony is being written out, and God will use it all for His glory! He's up to something amazing with her life, and I can't wait to see what all God has in store! Stay strong, and keep your eyes up! Hope to see you soon.
Love,
Casey
